In the 2021–2025 observations, November recorded the highest average monthly precipitation at about 208.4 mm. July was the driest month in the same comparison at about 23.2 mm.
Monthly totals describe accumulation, not timing. Rain may arrive through frequent short showers or a few heavy days, and two journeys in the same month can feel completely different.
A wet month is not a ruined month
Wetter periods can soften light, reduce heat and change the sound of a city. They can also close outdoor facilities or slow transport. Treat rain as a routing constraint rather than an automatic reason to cancel.
Link one outdoor place with one covered alternative nearby. Markets, museums, arcades, cafés and hotel public spaces can turn a hard retreat into a deliberate second version of the day.
