Creativity Beyond a Single Path

The American Folk Art Museum explores folk and self-taught art across time and place. Its focus opens questions about how artists learn, the traditions they inherit, and the visual languages they create. Look for individual choices in materials and form, while letting each artist's story resist easy categories.
