Capitol Reef National Park

Capitol Reef National Park begins with the feeling of arrival: a mark on the map, a few views to chase, and a small keepsake waiting at the end of the day. Follow mountains, shoreline, forest trails, then let this sticker bring a piece of the trip back to the kitchen, classroom, or travel wall.

Trail Note

A small story before the keepsake

Capitol Reef National Park starts as a place to locate, imagine, visit, and remember. When the trip is over, the keepsake gives that memory a small place to stay visible at home.

What makes this park feel different

Located in south-central Utah, Capitol Reef National Park is often overshadowed by its more famous neighbors like Zion and Bryce Canyon. However, it's a spectacular destination in its own right, featuring cliffs, canyons, domes, and bridges in a striking desert landscape. The park gets its name from the white domes of Navajo Sandstone that resemble capitol building domes, and the rocky ridges that present barriers to travel, much like a coral reef.

A route worth keeping

Hike the Hickman Bridge Trail Hike to Cassidy Arch Drive through Cathedral Valley Drive through the 16-mile round-trip Scenic Drive Get homemade pies at the historic Gifford Homestead See the orchards at Fruita Rural Historic District Visit the Fremont Petroglyphs

It works before the visit as a little spark of curiosity, and after the trip as a familiar marker on the fridge, board, or travel wall.

On the car, not the fridge!

Use these magnets on our car. The magnet is strong and they look nice. The size is perfect for allowing multiple magnets to be used. Looking forward to adding more as we visit more national parks.
