THIKANA MANDIR SHRI GOVIND DEV JI is a hidden gem nestled within the walls of Jaipur's City Palace, known as the "Palace of Breezes." 2. The temple houses an idol of Lord Krishna, which is believed to have been personally offered by Lord Krishna's great-grandson. 3. Inside the temple, there is a silver door called the "Bara Dari," which is beautifully adorned with intricate artwork and contains the idols of Lord Krishna's eight companions. 4. The temple is open for devotees only in the morning and evening, but during special occasions like Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, it remains open all night long for continuous worship. 5. The mesmerizing sound of bhajans (devotional songs) fills the air around the temple, creating a peaceful atmosphere and a truly divine experience.
