New Ideas in an Old School
Discover
MoMA PS1 makes a former nineteenth-century public school in Long Island City a setting for contemporary art. Its identity centers on artistic experimentation and engagement with the issues of the present. The building adds another dimension to that encounter: rooms once used for education now invite visitors to question, interpret, and explore through art.
