Edgar Allan Poe Cottage
A Writer’s Home in the Bronx
Discover
Edgar Allan Poe Cottage preserves a home associated with the writer in the Bronx. The modest building offers a different scale of literary history from the books themselves: rooms, surroundings, and the practical setting of a life. Approach it as a place to consider the relationship between writing and the circumstances in which it is made.
